My mum was a very lovin mum who would do anything for her children(all five of us).She also loved
spending time with her grandchildren, she used to always say "its great being a mum but even better
being a granny" and that you could tell when she was around them.
She never really went out much, her and ma dad loved to just sit together watchin telly way there
crisps lol, but when she did go out she was always up in the middle of the room dancin havin a
laugh.
She used to always get her words mixed up like "if you dont eat your plates your no gettin your
dinner" and put "the kettle in the fridge" lol we always took the mick out her for it,but that was
our mum and we all loved her to bits. We miss her everyday and think about her always.

Love you mumxxx

Waiting at the Door

I can’t explain so deep inside
The very fabric of my soul
Only a heart that grieves such loss
Can ever truly understand

It’s like you’re waiting at the door
Until a loved one comes back home
You feel a longing in your heart
When they appear the longing stops

But in a loss that never ends
You’re always standing at that door
You feel the longing in the breeze
So incomplete and never filled

I cannot find the words to say
Just what it’s like to want forever
Never seeing them again
Just always waiting at the door

For you mum.

ONE YEAR OF MISSING YOU
NOW WE HIDE OUR TEARS
DAYS WENT INTO WEKS AND MONTHS
AND NOW WE COUNT IN YEARS

SO TIRED OF PUTTING ON A SMILE
AND SAYING WE'RE OK
WHEN REALLY WE ARE JUST WAITING
FOR THE END OF ANOTHER LONELY DAY

NOTHING TO WORK FOR NO MORE HOPES AND DREAMS
HOW LONG WILL WE HURT FOR
HOW LONG PRETENDING TO LIVE
SURELY THIS WILL END SOON CANT GO ON MUCH MORE..

WE WOULD GIVE OUR FUTURE UP
FOR ONE DAY CALLED YESTERDAY WITH YOU
BUT TOMORROW WILL ARRIVE AS DID YESTERDAY
AND WE WILL PRETEND WE'RE OK..

mum

If roses grow in Heaven Lord
Please pick a bunch for me.
Place them in my Mother's arms
and tell her they're from me.
Tell her I love her and miss her,
and when she turns to smile,
Place a kiss upon her cheek
and hold her for a while.
Because remembering her is easy,
I do it everyday,
But there is an ache within my heart
That will never go away...xxx

Miss my mum loads and loads.

love you mum xxxx
